Remote Flashing!

The Remote Uploading is something a lot of people have been waiting for. We think it’s time to give you an update. We are excited to announce that as of today, we are officially releasing the updated TFTP Bootloader that will enable you to program your internet-connected Arduino through the network. Its name: Ariadne. You can watch the teaser video in our tutorials page while we update the documentation with instructions on how to use it.

You can grab and compile the code from github or you can claim the Pioneer perk on our IndieGoGo campaign and get an Arduino preloaded with our bootloader delivered straight to your door. Grab them while they are still available and get started right away!

Here’s a quick video of the process:

Am I correct to assume that this project was scrapped?
I have flashed the bootloader with Ariadne but
I do not see the same UI as in the video, I don’t have a net upload button.
Given that it is now almost 4 years later, I suppose it never took off?

Hi Michael! Unfortunately, the cloud flash feature had to be removed from codebender a long time ago since it was buggy and we never had the time to improve it. We might consider adding it again in the future. If you want to see how it works, you might want to take a look at the Ariadne Bootloader repo []

I did not get it working, can’t upload sketches over the network. I’m using Arduino 1.8 IDE. Is there any known issues with this project?
