Last week we introduced the nitty-gritty details of our project in a presentation held at our local hackerspace, P-space. The presentation attracted a lot of people interested in learning how codebender works under the hood and how they could help the project evolve.
We presented all the details of the project, how it started, the current status and the next steps that we’d like to take during the following months. We also introduced the WebFWD program, which has been so very helpful to us, and handed out some brochures to people interested in WebFWD. It’s really great when you spread the word and give back!
We’d like to thank all the people who took part in the follow-up discussion and challenged us on the "why’s" behind the decisions we took regarding the technologies we use and the development model we follow. The discussion expanded beyond the technical aspects and circled around the never-ending topic of how to grow an open source concept into a sustainable startup that produces revenue. Once again, thank you all for coming, challenging us, and starting a constructive discussion.
