We're writing to you today with some significant news about the future of Codebender. For the past several years, we've been incredibly proud to provide a platform that helps you bring your coding ideas to life. As technology evolves and our vision for Codebender expands, we've made the decision to build an entirely new version of Codebender from the ground up.

This new platform will offer enhanced features, improved performance, and a more seamless experience for everyone. To dedicate our full resources to this exciting development, we will be shutting down the old Codebender site within the next couple of weeks.

Your Data is Safe, But Please Back Up Your Projects!

We understand that transitioning to a new platform can raise questions about your valuable work. We want to assure you that we have securely backed up all user data from the current Codebender site. Your projects and information are safe with us.

However, as a best practice, we strongly recommend that you download and back up any of your personal projects or data from the current site as an extra precaution. This will ensure you have your own local copies of everything you've created on Codebender.

Note: Any sketches saved after August 4, 2025, will not be transferred to the new site. If you create new sketches after this date, please make sure to back them up locally.
